Moorespeed Race Engineering is attending the double event weekend at Daytona International Speedway. Historic Sportscar Racing is joined by the Grand-Am Series finale’ that was postponed due to the twin towers and pentagon events on September 11.
In the HSR event, Peter Kitchak will be driving a 1969 911 2.0 liter car for the Klub Sport Challenge and it’s respective sprint race and Enduro. David Moore will be driving a 1973 911 RSR (original Toad Hall Motor Racing RSR of Michael Keyser and Jurgen Barth now owned by Peter Kitchak). Peter and David will be teaming up to compete in the enduros with both cars. The HSR event will be held on November 1-3, 2001.
In the 3 Hour Grand American ROLEX Sports Car Series Race Saturday evening, Peter Kitchak is scheduled to drive a 2001 911 GT3Cup in Speedvision World Challenge configuration. Co-driver TBA
