Ordered in January 1967 by Alan Johnson and Bob Kirby specifically to race in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1967. Race prep and tuning performed successfully as the car actually won the GT Class in the 12 HOURS of SEBRING and then later that year it won the SCCA National Amateur Championship at Daytona.
